Damian Collins, the chair of the culture, media and sport select committee, invoked a rare parliamentary mechanism to compel the founder of a US software company, Six4Three, to hand over the documents during a business trip to London. In another exceptional move, parliament sent a serjeant at arms to his hotel with a final warning and a two-hour deadline to comply with its order. When the software firm founder failed to do so, it’s understood he was escorted to parliament. He was told he risked fines and even imprisonment if he didn’t hand over the documents.

So peinlich, dass ein US-Bundesrichter die Akte mit den Dokumenten zur Verschlusssache erklärt hat.

Kramer is CEO of Six4Three, a creepy US startup whose Facebook app helped you find pictures of your friends in bikinis; when the app was neutered by a change to Facebook's API, Six4Three sued Facebook and in the course of pre-trial discovery, they were given extensive internal documents from Facebook, which the judge in the case had ordered sealed.

So, und DER Typ war in London, und jemand hat das dem Collins gesteckt. Daraufhin hat der Himmel und Erde bewegt, um diese Dokumente zu kriegen.
Ja und jetzt? Jetzt ist das auf dem Server des UK-Parlaments veröffentlicht worden.
Nun bin ich keinen Fan von solchen Taktiken, aber gegen einen Amerikaner? Gegen diesen Amerikaner? Mein Mitleid hält sich in sehr engen Grenzen.
